Aims:
To prepare children for both independent and state secondary education by providing a stimulating and caring learning environment built on a firm foundation of Values-based Education.
To develop pupils who are grounded in values, growing in confidence, and keen to achieve.
To create a welcoming, friendly, family atmosphere where every child can be safe and happy, developing inter-personal skills and respect for others.
To consider every child as an individual and motivate them to reach their full potential.
To employ and develop outstanding teachers who inspire a lifelong love of learning and promote the highest academic standards.
To involve parents closely in the education of their children and include them in the life of the school.
To contribute to the community through action and service, in order to build a kinder, more sustainable world.
Kind
The children and staff tell us the most important of our values is Kindness. They want to learn be kind to each other, kind to our community, and kind to our world. As the first accredited Values based Education Prep School in Kent, we plant a seed of values in every child, that is watered takes root, and holds firm for life.
Brave
Deep roots make tall shoots! Confidence grows by taking that first step, and then the next. Our small family environment is perfect for encouraging and challenging pupils to speak up, have their voice heard, to try new things and challenge themselves. Through this they achieve more than they thought possible and make a difference in our world.
Brilliant
Our children flourish! We are rightly proud of our enviable academics and 11+ results, our sports champions, music maestros, accomplished actors, and our scholarship winners, but our greatest achievement is cultivating brilliance in every child so they can move on and thrive at the secondary school best suited for them.
