Anti-Bullying Week
This week, Hilden Oaks marked ‘Anti-Bullying Week’ with a variety of activities and events. One of the highlights was Odd Socks Day, where everyone was encouraged to wear mismatched socks to symbolise individuality and uniqueness. This helped to promote a positive, kind and inclusive school environment, reminding us that it's okay to be different, and that everyone deserves to feel safe and respected. Other events included a PSHCEE lesson and an SMSC assembly exploring the topic of bullying, our ‘Friendship Frame’ photos celebrating our friendships on the playground, and then each class designed and made a ‘Companion Cape’ for Captain Friendship to wear. Don’t they look brilliant!
